​As a motivated student at the University of Texas at Dallas, I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science with a minor in biology. With a passion for mathematics and science, I am fascinated with Health Insurance, Finance, Life Insurance, and Property and Casualty Insurance.

With an interest in financial, statistical, and data analysis, I am actively pursuing opportunities to enhance and build skills. I have applied my analytical abilities to learn Microsoft Excel, C++, R, and Java. In addition, I passed my first actuarial exam, financial mathematics. Currently, I am learning to code in SQL and studying for the P exam. I am eager to collaborate in team settings, where I can demonstrate my adaptability, conflict resolution, and strong communication skills.

Throughout my academic journey, I am committed to staying engaged with my school and community by joining various student organizations and volunteering. In addition, I am building my healthcare expertise by shadowing and gaining experience working with patients, checking vitals, and administering medicine.

Outside of school, I am deeply passionate about swimming and have been teaching it for the past six years. This role has helped me develop strong customer service skills and taught me the value of patience when helping others learn a new skill. I have also channeled my swimming experience into the UTD Swim Club, where I have competed in several swim meets, earning top-three placements.​
